I'm pissed off.

Bodum sent a smashed caraffe and won't respond to my requests for a refund or replacement. They do not answer the customer service phone number (or any other number I can find for Bodum). They haven't responded to email, except to say that they received mine and will be in touch. They don't get in touch. I'm done with them.

Bad/Non-Existent Customer Service

Bodum - Bad/Non-Existent Customer Service

If I could rate Bodum's customer service a 0, it would be too high. I ordered a French Press last middle December and upon paying, I realized that it was made of plastic...I wanted a glass unit.

I get it that this was my bad. I immediately, within minutes of paying, contacted them through email, as listed on their site, the situation and asked to please cancel the order. Didn't hear from them and sent a second request to cancel the order, before it was sent, via email and website form. I received the press 2 weeks later and THEN an email stating I could return the press to Denmark but I must pay the postage...more than the press is worth.

I then sent an email explaining the situation again and asking them to reconsider paying the return postage. I received a response after 7 weeks explaining that their system is automated and there's was nothing that they will do about it.

I then sent an email explaining the situation to 3 executives and the customer service and stating I would not be buying Bodum products, ever again, got an immediate response from customer service stating that they would not be doing anything about this. Sad...super bad company!

Trying to return some items (some came damaged and some I bought my mistake because the description wasn't clear). Form filled, an automatic email came. 10 days now, no one getting in touch. Super weird.

Difficult to return an item

I accidentally broke the glass piece of my French Press and needed to replace it. I mistakenly ordered a size that was too large and had to return it.

They have a specific return process and it took WEEKS to get a response from them. I had to message them multiple times via email, Facebook, and Instagram to get anything in return. I sent it back exactly the way they asked and it's been a month and I'm still waiting for my money back, despite promises on the site that the refund would be issued within days. I checked via the tracking number and it was received by them 2 days after I mailed it.

Still zero response on where my money is or what is going on. Terrible, terrible customer service.

Broken product

Bodum - Broken product
I bought the bistro burr coffee grinder and within two days of having it, it was jammed and stopped working. I took it completely apart and cleaned it out (wasting my coffee) and it worked for one day before it happened again, and keeps happening. I have contacted Bodum twice with zero reply and its been over two weeks. A waste of money and terrible customer service.

You won't get an email; you cannot call them; you fill out their website online form and all you get is an auto reply that they have received your form but you never get any feedback or support even weeks later! I like Bodum design but they are not able to provide any support or information. You cannot return or replace items because you cannot even reach them to get a return label. D

Poor customer service

Ordered a French press from them. Charged my card immediately and got a message that a tracking number would be sent shortly. Has been 6 days and nothing. No response to several emails! Also realized after they charge way more than other places!!!

Opened original box of 6pk of 12 oz glasses. Three were shattered. I have emailed and uploaded photos of the damage. I have received zero response. All the customer service phone numbers have recordings and in all cases no clear direction. I can not understand email address suggested. Feels impossible to make a connection.
